Introduction:Connecting
Hello World,My name is Pravin. I'm really no one special, In fact I'm like many of you . I've been married and divorced, I have two wonderful children, I have a decent Job ; yet still find it hard to make ends meet. I'm tired of working very hard each week and still having to shuffle my bills around when pay day comes. So what do I intend to accomplish by creating this blogspot, reaching out to all of you? Connecting... I believe that there is power in numbers and if even one person reads this and says "hey, we can help each other", then I'll be happy. In the recent past millions of dollars have been raised and made for various reasons, money exchanges hands daily on many levels. But beyond the actual dollars are the ideas and methods that created these dollars; here is where my interest lies. I want to learn how to make money, how not to be afraid to practice, confident that if a mistake is made it is a learning experience for the next time. So this is your chance to teach and learn and connect to at least one person. This may be the long shot of long shots, but that's what's it's all about. I'm new to this blog thing so bear with me, my intentions are good , and I trust yours are too. Are you ready?
Credit
There was a time in my life when my credit was excellent. At that time with my spending habits not in check, I could get anything on credit. Once my financial advisor (my wife) was no longer around to keep me from breaking the bank, I began to sink in the credit quick sand. A car reposession, near forclosure on my house and numerous calls from creditors made me realize I had a problem. 1) over spending my budget and 2) Not paying my bills. There are tons of people out there willing to give you money without good credit but it is much cheaper if you have at least good credit. I felt unworthy when I had to talk to anyone who might ask me about my credit, so I never even pursued my desire to buy an investment property for example. I'm not saying there is no hope if you have bad credit or even no credit to buy income property but good credit gives you a certain amount of confidence once you know it's not an issue. I mention this simply because ultimately the idea is to use OPM (other peoples money) to create your own wealth. So here is what I did: First I got a credit check so I could begin eliminating any derogatory entries. At the same time I wrote letters of dispute for any entries that were errant or old. ( I am still in the process of doing all of this). Next I borrowed money from one of those check advance lenders, first to establish a relationship and then to obtain a loan they would report.
Caution: These loans are very expensive so have the money available. In other words only borrow what you can pay back quickly plus any fees generated (no more than a month). Next, I took one more loan ($900 to be exact) went to a "real" lender and obtained a shared secured loan, and immediately paid off the higher loan. The loan from the "real" lender is at a very low rate and you begin to establish good credit. It's easy to see that if you then start doing the same thing with a number of banks you could have quite a penny to invest. I hope this helps someone it worked for me. Feel free to add tips for others to enjoy!!!!
